Project Overview

The Armory at 529 West 42nd Street in Manhattan (10036) is a large-scale FISP 9 facade restoration and the largest contract in the Altius CM portfolio. It is in progress. Repairs run across floors 1 through 6, from the parapet down to the window sills.

Scope

Parapet: full parapet reconstruction
Brick masonry: replacement by stitching and 1-wythe brick masonry replacement, corner reconstruction, and cutting and pointing
Lintels and shelf angles: stone lintel patching and replacement, steel lintel replacement, and shelf angle refurbishment
Coping: terrace cast stone coping replacement, and cast stone coping pin and patch
Stone: stone and granite repairs and removal
Windows: window sill pinning and repairs

FISP context
